Just look at the selection! The Outdoor Gear Exchange has an extensive selection of both used and brand-new consignment gear. Do you have used gear clogging up your closet? We’ll sell it for you! Is it clean, functional, and seasonally appropriate? Well then, don’t you dare throw that in a landfill so it can potentially decompose! Respect the natural world that you live in and love to explore, and recycle your used gear through the Outdoor Gear Exchange. You’ll get some money back as cash or as store credit, so you can fill that freshly cleaned closet with fly, new gear!
Consignment outdoor gear just makes sense; you love the outdoors, you love vintage purple and teal jackets as much as your hot new telemark boots, and you don’t want either to end up in a trash pile. By recycling your gear, you’re living up to the social contract that exists between us nature-lovers and the outdoor industry that doesn’t necessarily abide by strong environmental practices. The Outdoor Gear Exchange prides itself on environmental stewardship, and our consignment program is an integral part of our environmental mission statement. Annnnnd....you’re saving money! With the economy still in flux, why not re-use someone else’s hiking shoes? They’re still in great shape, they don’t stink, and they need a home. Please give them a home.
Our highly-trained consignment staff will make sure your consignment experience with us is as pleasurable as inhaling the deep pow.
