The Outdoor Gear Exchange was founded in 1995 in Burlington, Vermont. We started out of a small shop and have now grown our retail store to 10,000 + square feet. One of our missions was to give the customer (you) great gear at a great price. Our belief is everyone should be able to afford to get out there and have fun! By buying smart and offering used consignment gear, we have succeeded in this mission and our business has grown. We are now using this same philosophy with our online business, gearx.com.
