The Appalachian Trail Conference publishes the definitive guides to the entire Appalachian Trail, covering more than 2,100 miles in 11 guidebooks. All guides include detailed trail descriptions and information on road crossings, shelters, water sources, points of interest, and general advice on the region. Each guide also includes separate water-resistant maps for the specific region covered. The New Hampshire-Vermont guide covers 311 miles from Grafton Notch in Maine to North Adams in Massachusetts, and includes New Hampshire's White Mountains. The set includes eight, four-color topographic maps on four sheets.
