This must be one of the best crash pads for high drops. From five or fifteen feet this pad cushions your landing and makes you more attractive as you flail on your project. The shoulder straps are mounted high to keep things low in profile and to keep you out of the trees. Unfold the Drop Zone under your favorite rocky playground, and its dual density foam will soften your landings. When you’re finished, fold it in half, slip on its shoulder straps, and move on. Two flaps seal the bottom and side in the folded mode so you can carry some gear, there’s also a small stash pocket.
