Its Y-Rod stay and molded waistbelt offer efficient weight transfer and support under larger loads, and both are removable when weight is at a premium. The three-way compression cradle system reduces pack volume for carrying smaller loads. Durable, water-shedding 420d nylon and 1260 Ballistics fabrics and the right mix of features—helmet holder, dual ice axe loops, ski/tool slots and daisy chain—make the Jackal an excellent, multi-season climbing pack.
