Have you ever wondered how skiers in the movies manage to hold a course as they bomb down some razor-thin line on an unforgiving Alaskan mountain? The Zealot is Black Diamond's answer: it's a hard-core big-mountain ripper. This ultra-damp ski has underfoot camber that will translate to powerful skiing on firm snow, but with a 110mm waist and a wider turn radius, the Zealot will also give you stability and power on soft snow.

Designed for higher speeds and longer turns than the AMPerage and more soft-snow oriented than the Verdict, the Zealot is equipped with playful Rocker tip and Semi-Rocker tail for forgiveness, balance and agile turning in any condition.A speed demon, this ski is still surprisingly light weight with 3D Metal Sandwich construction, Titanal, paulownia wood core and ABS tapered sidewalls. Formula One Technology with three ribs and Torsion Box Construction give the Zealot maximum torsional rigidity.

Optimal use: 50% soft snow / 50% hard snow
