Bike Tuning Services at Outdoor Gear Exchange

With our newly added bike department, we also have a fully functional bike repair shop and techs on site to service, tune, and repair your bike. A variety of bike tuning services offered are outlined below with cost, scope of work, and what is included in each package.

If upon working on your bike, our techs discover additional problems that require more parts to be replaced, we will replace up to $15 in additional parts prior to contacting you. For any jobs that require MORE than $15 in additional parts, we will halt services and contact you before proceeding.

In addition to the more in depth services outlined below, we also offer a wide range of more basic maintenance, care and cleaning services for your wheels, brakes, drivetrain and more! Basically any work you need done to your bike, we can do, just ask!

Bike Tuning Services

Standard Tune - $59 - Safety shakedown, brake/derailleur cable adjustment, break pad/rotor adjustment, bearing adjust, inflate tires, degrease/lube drivetrain, basic wheel true.

Full Tune - $125 - Standard Tune + full wheel true, bearing service (adjust/grease), clean frame, ultrasonic drivetrain clean, torque crank bolts, check torque on bolts, lube cables and housing, check entire bike for replacement needs.

Race Tune - $179 - Standard +Full Tune + replacement of all cables and housing, new handlebar tape, replace/overhaul all bearings.

Suspension Services

Basic Tune (Fork) - $30 - Oil change & inspect lower bushings. Set compression, rebound, and air to rider preference/style.

Full Tune (Fork) - Oil change, change seals, o-rings, quad-rings, rebuild damper, new dust wipers/foam rings. Adjust travel if desired on applicable models. (No labor charge for replacing damaged parts).

Rear Shock Service - $80 - Replace all seals/glide rings. Set air pressure to ride specs.
