1. Multiple Set-Up Configurations

Mountain Hardwear's DryPitch™ technology allows the Drifter 3 to be pitched in three different configurations to fit weather conditions and weight goals. With its freestanding pole design, you can either set up the tent using just the rainfly and footprint for a lightweight, minimalist shelter; just the tent body and footprint for comfort in warm, dry weather; or the tent body, footprint and rainfly for full protection from the elements! It is as if you have three tents in one!

2. Easy Set-Up in any Weather!

An additional benefit to the innovative DryPitch™ design of the Drifter 3 is that the tent is easy to use and can even be set-up with the rainfly first to keep you dry even in a downpour! Simply lay the footprint out, connect the poles together and attach them to the footprint to form the frame of the tent, drape the rainfly over the structure and attach it to the footprint, then connect the body of the tent in while staying dry underneath the rainfly! The Drifter 3 also uses DAC Pressfit™ aluminum poles that are attached at the center, for quick and efficient setup.

The Mountain Hardwear Drifter 3 DryPitch™ tent has the performance and convenience features to keep you protected from the elements and comfortable in camp. Watertight construction, including taped seams on the fly and perimeter of the tent body, as well as welded corners and guy clip anchors and a DWR treated canopy protect you from nasty weather and add excellent durability. Additionally, the Drifter 3 has a convenient, included gear loft to stash essential items away from the floor and sides of your tent, as well as mesh storage pockets for easily accessible storage for your headlamp, alarm clock or other items that you need to find in the night.
