2. ...And the tourability to fly to the top again
With their lightweight Pebax Rnew shell, and that aforementioned carbon core technology, these boots weigh in at just under 8 lbs a pair. Combine that light weight with 27° of cuff range of motion afforded by Scarpa's Ride Power Block, and the Freedom SL's tours up the skin track with ease. That light weight and their rockered sole also means that bootpacking steeps will be nimbly done as well.
