Well, I grew up on the Jersey Shore and can relate to all generalizations posed by the reality tv show. I was a small child, and grew into a tall man. I have nothing but love for Vics and Shalimar, the vastness and power of the ocean, skiing in waist-deep powder, delicious and nutritious beer, growing food, reading, and coolin' out. Being salty is part of my upbringing, and I have a serious fix for it once or twice a year whilst I live with no coast here in the mountains of Vermont. Traveling is something that I also truly enjoy, and in that spirit hope to one day open a hostel to accommodate the voyages of other travelers. Riding down mountains is what I get down on in the winter time, and love everything about it; the skin up, the liftservice, gobbling up powder, ripping fast on a big setup, or gettin' graceful with some thin skis and leather boots. Getting outside is crucial when you live under the dark cloud that suffocates Burlington, VT every winter. It's also very appealing knowing that there is amazing, dark, local beer everywhere you look as soon as your winter activity of choice is complete. Turn offs; brimmed winter hats, jean shorts, being oblivious to the grandeur of Rajon Rondo, and a poorly made burrito. Turn ons; green wax and some hot nordic action, skiing towards beer, delicious food, sand, salt, and sunshine. I'm also venturing into the realm of pirate-dom, and plan on transforming fully into YellowBeard, aka Captain Knuckles once I get my vessel back into the water. At the shop, I embody the Consignment Guru, and attempt to facilitate the re-sale of items back into the outdoor-loving community. "Every day I live this life, and every night I live another."
