A relatively young company in the outdoor industry. A young college graduate started the NEMO in a mill in Nashua, NH. The acronym originated from New England Mountain Equipment. Innovation is the driving force behind their high-level design and engineered products. Their first product was a line of tents that featured the new AirSupported Technology. This new technology caught the eyes of many in the industry and allowed NEMO to continue to design and development new highly functional, lightweight, innovative outdoor equipment.
