Warehouse Staff
I am looking for a motivated, hard-working, detail-oriented, organizing-talented, driven-to-excel, accurate employee willing to work in a short-on-space, dynamic, and quirky warehouse (at the back of the Cherry Street Store) to do a variety of tasks involving and related to receiving, restocking, inventory management, cleaning, organizing, and improvement. This position also requires proficient experience with Windows and Excel, as well as being able to work with and navigate networks, computers, and other random programs that could be handy to use in an office. Also involves heavy lifting. There will also be some sales floor work involved - thus, the best candidate will also be people-friendly and have related-to-what-we-do outdoor experience and gear knowledge. Gear knowledge is required because our inventory is all gear. You will also be working closely with a few other people, so being cool is important, too. This is not an exhaustive list of the duties. Sales Floor - Skiers Wanted!
We are looking for full-time backcountry (a.t. or telemark) and Nordic skiers to help us through the ski season. Previous experience ski teching is a plus! Daily responsibilities would include guiding customers to the right gear for their needs, merchandising, learning about gear, and generally maintaining the OGE as the spunky, local gear store that it is. Associates would be expected to work in other departments as well as the backcountry department. The position is full-time and includes great perks and benefits. Full time.
