Description

What do women want? We don’t claim to know. So, we turned to the skiing women of the world to help design the Dolce Vita Jacket. We wanted to make a jacket that could be used every day of the season and with enough style that it is her favorite go to townie Too much to ask for? We didn’t think so either. Our design team developed stitch patterns that offer flattering curve lines, strong colors and great off colored zippers to create a truly unique look. Next, we decided to use a tough but soft to touch fabric for the outer shell of this jacket. The material is soft like a traditional soft –shell, but waterproof. We seam taped the outer shell for water tight performance and finished it off with a light 100-120 gram Thermolite™ synthetic down fill. The result is a jacket that can worn on the coldest of day with normal layering or on the warmest days with a t-shirt. Tough, functional and good looking, just like our women. Best of all, it has a whopping nine pockets, including massive inner pockets big enough to store a mountaintop picnic.

Features:
  • Two-layer Intuitive™ 10k/10k waterproof breathable membrane
  • Fully seam-taped
  • 100-120-gram Thermolite synthetic insulation
  • Powder-Guard Snaps on the waist
  • Thumb-hole loops on the sleeves
  • Two massive inner pockets for stashing skins and goggles
  • 13-inch underarm vents
  • One-handed adjustable hood (made to fit over a helmet)
  • No-Bulk™ powder cuffs
  • YKK waterproof zippers
  • Level 5 Dupont DWR (Durable Water Repellent)
  • 9 pockets

ABOUT FLYLOW

Flylow manufactures freeride apparel for the modern skier. Its founders, college friends and Colorado natives Greg Steen and Dan Abrams, noticed that most people they skied with – including themselves – were wearing mountaineering gear.  While those clothes were designed for light and fast travel in the mountains, they didn’t necessarily stand up to the rigors of riding in demanding terrain. In response, Flylow developed a line of outerwear that has the mobility of mountaineering gear but the style and fit of freeride apparel. Throughout the creative process, they  have focused on balancing simplicity and functionality and have created products that will stand up to the harshest conditions, whether you’re lapping in-bounds steeps, climbing a skin track, hitting a kicker in the park, or drinking a beer on your tailgate at the end of the day.
