Granite Gear - Superior One Portage Pack

I am loving this pack so far! I have used for two overnights with limited portages, but have hiked several miles with it loaded and been very comfortable. It even fits my two and a half year old! I like how nicely it fits in my sundowner tandem. And creates a seat for my kid. It also fits very snuggly in my solo advantage. I am able to balance the solo if I lighly load this pack and put it behind me. Then have a dry bag or two in the stern. For carrying I just throw all my gear in this pack and can do a single carry. The fabric seems to be of good quality and the pack is lighter weight than other similar packs I own. I like how easily i can compress it. It even makes a great pack for just getting out the door for family day trips as i can load our gear into it, and over pack it with life jackets as I manage the most important portage. Just getting out the door. Gearx has the best price and even was able to use a coupon! So much better than hiking packs and easy to get things out of it. I have had expensive back pack dry bags and have been very disappointed to find my gear soaking wet in them. Now I use this with cheaper dry bag stuff sacks. Very happy.
