Grivel XMonster New Leashless Tool

This radical new design shaves the cost, but not the performance of this monster ice Climbing Gear tool.

Features

Hot-forged, chromoly-steel head features a thinner pick ideal for fragile ice and a light-duty hammer head
Thin pick blade and flat shaft construction allow the tool to anchor deep in narrow cracks
Flexible shaft design allows for out of axis traction and increases the ability of hooking up in cracks
Slightly straighter shaft is better for vertical walls, multi-grip design allows you to choke-up the handle or use a second hand on the shaft
Includes Snake friction material, which can be custom cut and secured with grip tape on shaft for multiple hand placement options
Non-slip ergonomic grip with serrated spike; leash hole placed mid shaft; leash sold separately
