Hagan Z02 Junior AT Binding

Availability: Out of stock

Stock #: D20AX

Hagan, a family-owned ski mountaineering company based in Austria, has created a junior alpine touring binding especially for kids who are chomping at the bit to explore.  Their proven Z02 binding is now available in an extra small junior size.  A shorter sole length and a lowered DIN release range of 2-7 ensure a proper match for the weight, height and skiing skills of youth ski tourers.  Get ready for a winter full of family touring!

  • Easy step-in frame touring binding
  • Four climbing mode heights - 0, 5, 10, and 15 degrees - and a mode that only allows the binding to move up slightly, so your ski doesn't flap away from you on steep, side-stepping ascents; climbing mode is adjustable with a pole
  • Double force rollers in the release flanks reduce friction between the boot sole and the toe iron, allowing for lower release settings and safer release particularly in difficult snow conditions
  • Gliding sole support reduces the friction between the rubber sole of your AT boot and the surface of the toe piece, keeping the setting of the release values at the toe piece constant, even under enormous strain
  • Compatible with alpine touring and downhill ski boots
  • Comes with a ski leash; works with a variety of brake widths and Hagan ski crampons

  • Fits boots with a sole length ranging from 225 mm to 280 mm* (compatible boots must have a full sized toe lug check boot sole length, BSL, and the size of toe lug on boots to ensure compatibility.)
  • Compatible with alpine touring and downhill ski boots
  • Ski brakes available in 97, 107, and 115 mm widths
  • Ski crampons available in 85, 100, and 115 mm widths
  • ISO/DIN release setting range of 2-7
  • 1640 g per pair

*The smallest boot that is compatible with this binding as of January 2016 is about a Mondo Size 21. Please call us at 888-547-4327 concerning questions of compatibility.
