Many arguments have been had about the merits of goose down vs. synthetic insulation in sleeping bags. Perhaps the solution lies in using a bit of both, as Millet have done in their Composite Series bags. The Dreamer Composite 30 degree bag uses 150 g/m² synthetic insulation on the bottom portion to provide resistance against wet ground, while the top half features 200 grams of 700-fill goose down for optimal insulating power.
