Not many tent companies can say that they've built tactical shelters for Navy SEALs and worked with NASA on inflatable architectures for moon colonization. But NEMO, the innovative little company from New Hampshire, has achieved all that and more in its young history. Their Losi series tents may be a bit more down-to-earth than moon colonies, but they are nevertheless lauded for their well-thought-out features and top-notch materials. The unique four-pole structure of the Losi give it plenty of interior headroom and keep it stable during summer storms, and the tent comes packaged in an easy-to-use roll-up organizer instead of a traditional stuff sack, which has a star chart sewn into it for good measure. The Losi is not the lightest 2 person backpacking tent on the market, but its comparatively luxurious size and first-rate design earn it rave reviews anyway.
