I love my red #1 link cam! As an adventure climber getting on new or infrequently climbed routes this piece is invaluable. There is a great feeling of security knowing that this one piece of gear is going to cover a broad range of cracks. The one downside is that it can be more difficult to evaluate your placement in the second of third tier of caming lobes. Despite the increased amount of evaluation time this piece is one that I will not leave home without! (Posted on 4/7/10)
