The Countryman Press is Vermonts oldest name in publishing. Since 1973, they have been committed to producing books of substance and quality. This local publishing company puts about 70 books into print each year with more than 350 currently in print. Countryman Press's two most popular series are the Explorer's Guides and the 50 Hikes Series, supplying interested readers with regional travel destinations and hiking spots. They also have a wide variety of more specific outdoor sport activity books, including fishing, cycling, walking, and paddling.
