The Exodus Jacket is a mid-weight soft shell jacket originally designed to be used as a ski touring system in conjunction with the Exodus Pants - but as it turns out, that combination also works well for almost any winter mountain activity, including hiking/snowshoeing.

The real beauty of the Exodus jacket is in the fabric. It's made of Rab's Matrix DWS (Double Weave Stretch) fabric, which is an exceptionally durable soft shell that will keep the jacket looking like new season after season. The dense weave of the Matrix fabric yields enough wind and water resistance for all but the worst weather, but as a non-membrane softshell it remains breathable enough for good temperature and moisture regulation during periods of high activity.

The "calendared" zippers referred to in the feature list are a new type of waterproof zipper not yet commonly found on pieces from other companies (Rab is always on the leading edge when it comes to materials). These zippers offer a high degree of water resistance while being more flexible and easier to zip than typical waterproof zippers.

ABOUT RAB
