The future of freeride is here. The award-winning, new SUPER 7 is a revolutionary, lightweight fusion of backcountry, freestyle, and freeride performance for expert to intermediate skiers. Called "the most versatile powder ski ever tested", the 2014 Gear of the Year winner delivers powder skiing's surfy playfulness to the masses. Featuring athlete-driven innovation, Rossignol's highly-acclaimed Powder Turn Rocker profile virtually eliminates "tip flap" for increased stability while delivering effortless floatation, steering, and speed control in the deepest snow conditions. Their patented, lightweight Air Tip technology enhances floatation and control even further, keeping tips naturally above the snow surface for fatigue-free maneuverability and ultra-light swing weight for quick directional changes. With an ultra-lightweight paulownia wood core construction, 116mm waist, and quick and nimble turn radius, the Super 7 is the next progression of the "game changing" original, making powder skiing easier, more natural and more fun. 90% Powder / 10% All-Mountain

The original pow ski is back!My first rockered pow ski was the Rossi S7 (Cab model), and it's great to be back on an updated version. This is the S7 version that does not have metal, and therefore prefers soft conditions most. I mounted mine with the Dynafit Beast 14, and have it as my big mountain charging ski. This thing is super light for it's size, and the camber under foot makes it perform well when conditions firm up. In the soft snow is where this ski shines! Super surfy and playful and can turn on a dime. Get at this ski if you're looking for a fun soft snow ski, or you live somewhere with big mountains and a lot of snow as your daily driver.
