Ski Mounting Rates

We offer a full range of nordic, telemark and alpine touring ski mounting and tuning in our brick and mortar shop, The Outdoor Gear Exchange. Next time you are in Vermont on a ski trip stop into the shop in Burlington for a look or a tune up.

We can also mount your online ski purchase before we ship it out to you. In order to mount your skis we will need your boot model and size to get a correct fit. If you have any questions or want more information call our ski tech, Brian Drourr, Tuesday through Saturday.

Hand Tuning

Basic AT/Tele Tuning

$25.00

For skis and snowboards, this price includes minor base repair, waxing and sharpening of edges.

Full AT/Tele Tune

$35.00

For skis and snowboards, this price includes major base repair (gouges more than two inches long), waxing, edge sharpening, base leveling and binding inspection.

Basic Nordic Tuning

$15.00

For nordic skis, this price includes minor base repairs and glide waxing.

Full Nordic Tune

$25.00

For nordic skis, this price includes major base repairs (gouges more than two inches long), glide waxing and edge sharpening.

Kick-Wax Removal

$5.00

Kick-wax removal from any nordic ski will incur an additional charge of $5.00

Repairs

$25.00/hr

All shop repairs will be done at a rate of $25 an hour. This may include, but is not limited to: Large P-Tex Repairs, Binding Repairs, T-nut replacements, Helecoils, Topsheet repairs, Boot repairs, Skin repairs and base leveling
