Vasque Switchback XCR Mens Boot

Rainy forecast for the weekend Who cares—lace up the Vasque Men's Switchback Hiking Boot and get out there for an overnight trip. This leather backpacking boot's Gore-Tex insert will keep your feet bone dry. The Switchback GTX Waterproof Nubuck leather upper keeps moisture out, and the high cut provides the support necessary to prevent ankle rolls, even when you're laden with a weekend's worth of gear. Despite all this support, the Switchback weighs just less than three pounds a pair, light enough to take on strenuous, fast day hikes. Vasque gave the Switchback GTX a compression molded EVA midsole to absorb the impact of miles of hiking, and a TPU plate above the outsole to limit twisting and provide rigidity for carrying a heavy pack.
