The introduction of Dyneema tape represented the most significant breakthrough in software technology in recent years. This year, DMM/Wild Country has introduced a 10mm version of their popular slings for even greater savings in the weight and bulk of your rack. There's nothing to match it for threading through tiny holes! Despite being narrower, these slings lost nothing in the way of strength, coming in at the same 22kN of last year. Dyneema is approximately 800% more abrasion resistant than nylon webbing. All of these benefits contribute towards substantially improved safety limits and less bulk on your rack. As it is not possible to dye Dyneema, coloured nylon is woven on the edges, producing an aesthetic striped webbing that is easily identifiable.
