The most impressive section of the entire 2100-mile Appalachian Trail is along the backbone of the White Mountains here in New Hampshire. The New England-based Appalachian Mountain Club has a system of 8 backcountry huts situated a day apart along this popular route. We worked with the Club to create a handy map & guide for thru-hikers. It has complete trail mileages along every piece of the trail, an illustrated cross-section of the route, and descriptive texts of what to look for along your hike and what each hut has to offer at the end of a long day.
