It's mud season now in Vermont's Champlain Valley (aka "the banana belt") but there's still plenty of snow up high! That means it's time to start selling off our 2012/2013 fleet of demo skis.
Here we have a pair of Worth Humpback 185cm skis mounted up with Marker Baron AT bindings (size small). The Humpback is an homage to all things East Coast backcountry, with a name derived from Camel's Hump, Vermont's signature backcountry peak. The Teardrop, Great Gulf, the Pemi Wilderness, the Chic Chocs...this is the home turf of the Humpback. If your nose is like a metal-detector for untouched snow, you'll appreciate these skis.
The Humpbacks have a 140-109-122 sidecut, a 27 meter turn radius, and an early-rise tip and tail. The sidecut is set back 10cm from center and the taper is 18mm. It has a longer, "sharkier" nose for crud busting and stability in uneven snow. Our ski manager rates the condition of this pair as a 9 out of 10.
